Halloween 2008

After several failed attempts to post halloween pictures, I am going to try it again. We started our after noon off trick or treating through my mom's old office building. She retired a few years ago but a friend of hers still works there and invited us out. We had a good time and the kids walked all through the huge building. After about the first hour Lucy started crying and I had to carry her. After we were done, we went by my mom's and ate a quick dinner(Thanks Mom!!). Lucy threw a fit all the way to her house. When we got there, daddy was holding her and trying to calm her down. She finally kept telling him shoe. So, being the smart daddy that he is, he took her shoes off. She was fine after that. Then we went to our church's annual fall family festival. They had fun jumping in the bounce houses. They had one of those big inflatable slides. With a little help from another little girl, Lucy made it all the way to the top. She looked a little tenative once at the top but she had fun sliding down. We really only stayed long enough for daddy to work our Sunday school class' football toss booth. Then we headed home. Big brother Matthew joined us and hung out with us for the evening. There is a picture and he is in the back ground next to daddy. He is in his fire dept. uniform. Big sis Caitlin went to a party at a friends. In all, we had a great time, all be it, exhausting.
The following day we attempted to go to the airshow. Actually, we went but after an hour and a half we left. The food prices were crazy. Then, one of the jets took off and was doing his ariels. Markas completely freaked out. Maybe we will try it again in a couple of years. I did manage to get one cute picture of Lucy and daddy.
OK, after an hour this all the pictures I could get uploaded. I will try again later to upload the rest.

What a cute cheerleader and handsome football players! It looks like fun in that big bouncer!

I hope the airshow will be better next time. :)
